Most people working in the estate planning community use the results of business valuations in their work. To help you become more effective this presentation will help you better understand business valuation. We will cover foundational concepts, types of valuation, approaches to valuation, discounting and reporting.
Allan is the leader of Business Transition, M&A Advising and Business Valuation. He is a Certified Merger & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). He has retired his CPA, ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation) and Certified Exit Planner certificates.
Client and practice specialties include business owner exit and succession planning, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and business valuations. Allan works with a variety of industries including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, professional services, real estate, construction, technology, and retail.
Allan has presented to various associations on the topics of business owner exit strategies, transition strategies, and business valuations. He was a member of the AICPA and WSCPA, where he was a past Chairman of the WSCPA Business Valuation and Litigation Support Committee.
